clubs—Life Outside the Classroom
Sure, life in school is pretty interesting. You've got algebraic equations, Bunsen burners, and sentence diagrams. But chances are, you've got commitments outside of school, too.
Education and maturity comes from more than just grades. It’s important to find out what you enjoy and get involved in your school community. You can learn from the classroom as well as clubs, athletics, and more. Extracurricular activities help answer these important questions:
- What are your non-academic interests?
- Can you maintain a long-term commitment?
- Can you prioritize your time?
- What diversity do you bring to the student body?
- What meaningful contributions have you made?
