Open Enrollment

All Tolleson Union High School District schools are now accepting open enrollment for the upcoming school year. Please view and print out the open enrollment application and bring the completed form to the Tolleson Union High School District office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The address is 9801 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson, AZ 85353.

Affordable Internet Program

Cox Connect2Compete is an affordable, in home internet product for low-income families with school-aged children. Cox Communications committed to promoting digital inclusion by providing connectivity, digital literacy training, and low-cost equipment. Updated Meal Service Information

We are providing updated information on meal service during the closure. On Wednesday, March 25, Tolleson Union High School District students can pick up a meal pack at the high school where they are currently enrolled. We will distribute meal packs from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Beginning Monday, March 30, Tolleson Union High School District students can receive a five-day meal pack for the week. Monday meal packs will include breakfast and lunch for five days for Tolleson Union High School District students. We will distribute meals from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. each Monday.

Our meal distribution will continue during the summer with some changes. Starting on Monday, June 1, meal distribution moves to mornings from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Please see our summer meal distribution flyer for complete details.

Tolleson Union High School District students must be present in order to receive the five-day meal pack.

Summer Online Learning

Summer school starts on Monday, June 1 and goes until June 30. All classes will be online.

Students:

  • Students follow their daily schedule by logging into their on-line classes at the exact same time they would
  • report to each and every class during the closure.
  • Students access Edgenuity from the District homepage using their username and password.
  • Students complete and upload work and access class progress in Edgenuity.
  • Students see their assignments and current course grades via StudentVUE.

Parents:

  • Check TUHSD website for updates during the school closure.
  • Provide feedback to staff as needed during the closure.
  • Check on student progress in Synergy using ParentVUE and support students in Edgenuity.
College & Financial Aid Support for AZ Students

While these are uncertain times, we want you to know we are here to support you! We know this is not how you planned your senior year. We know the spring semester is filled with critical college and financial aid tasks and deadlines so we have created this document to help you! Whether you need help starting or completing your FAFSA, getting through the verification process, applying to college, or completing the college enrollment process, our teams want to make sure you have the support you need.

Parents, during this time we wanted to ensure we provided you with some community resources that are currently available for both mental and physical health. Please reach out if you need any additional support.

    • Meal service for all children 18 years and younger will begin on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
  • Internet Accessibility
    • The FCC has an agreement that states that providers will waive late fees, not cutoff services for lack of payment, and open hot spots for increased accessibility to the internet. 
    • Check out deals from the following companies on their website, including free hot spots and internet for $10.00 a month: Cox, T-Mobile, Verizon, Comcast, Sprint, AT&T, and Charter.

Classes on Edgenuity

If you are new to using Edgenuity, please access a tutorial on on YouTube on how to use Edgenuity. If you have questions, please use your email to reach out to your teacher.

Instructions for Students to Access Email

Students, if you have not accessed your email, please read the email access flyer instructions on how to access it. Teachers will be communicating with you via StudentVue and email. Thank you for being proactive in your education!
